Lill’ Bits:
I admire and aspire to have a long-term relationship.
But I don’t think “making it work” to achieve a 30, 50, or lifetime milestone is a great goal.
Some people equate the length of their relationship to success.
I don’t think it’s the length, I think it’s the depth that matters.
For me, 40 years would mean nothing if I spent the majority at odds with the one I claim to love.
I think we sometimes focus too hard on the anniversary number and not enough on being present daily.
What if instead of “making it work” the goal was to “make it grow?”
